Collection and Renewal of a Certificate

Collection of a certificate

Before you first launch the Certification Wizard, we recommend you check your computer's settings according to the instructions to be found here. Please also read the Ten Rules of Security.

If you have already concluded the pertinent contract, you can now collect your certificate in the Certification Wizard.

Launch the Certification Wizard, choose your type of certificate and click on the Collection of a new certificate option. Enter your client identification number in the window that has opened. This can be found in the contract concluded at the KB branch. Also enter the one-off password for collection of the certificate which you received via SMS.

After completing all of the necessary steps, you can immediately start to use KB Profibanka direct banking services.

Renewal of a certificate

A personal certificate on a smart card is valid for 2 years.

You can renew a certificate electronically 90 days before the expiry date in the Certification Wizard.

Launch the Certification Wizard, select certificate on a smart card and click on the Renewal of certificate validity option. Then follow the instructions on screen.

You will be informed of imminent expiry of your certificate’s validity 90 days before expiry of its validity every time you login to the Profibanka service until you renew the certificate.

If you do not renew the validity of your existing certificate before its expiry date, you will have to inform your relationship manager and request creation of a new certificate.
